Mick Jagger Ready For SNL Hosting Debut [Video]
Mick Jagger has appeared on Saturday Night Live in the past, but he’s never been the show’s host. That changes tonight as Jagger steps out onto the stage without his Rolling Stone band mates to host SNL tonight. Jagger will also be the musical guest for tonight’s season finale, but he won’t be joined by the rest of the Rolling Stones. It isn’t clear if the iconic front man will dip into the Rolling Stones catalogue or play songs from his solo career, but he will be playing them with the Foo Fighters, Arcade Fire, and Jeff Beck.

The finals of the strikeforcr Heavyweight Grand Prix finally went on – with Josh Barnett, the favorite from that half of the bracket, facing Daniel Cormier, an alternate who was not even supposed to be in the tournament. Cormier put on a star-making performance and came out with the decision victory – although both men obviously could compete with the elite of any heavyweight division in the world. The first round saw Daniel Cormier outstriking the much more experienced Josh Barnett, although both men landed significant blows. In the second round, Cormier took Barnett down after some crisper boxing from Josh made him think twice about engaging on the feet.

James Harden Carrying The Thunder
After trailing by 12 points in the first quarter, the Thunder have cut the Lakers’ lead to four thanks in large part to the play of James Harden. Harden leads all scorers with 12 points in his 10 minutes of play off the bench. Since he entered the game, Harden has attacked the Lakers defense, drawing three fouls. He’s made 3-of-7 shots from the floor and 5-of-6 free throw attempts. The Thunder have needed Harden’s hot streak as Kevin Durant has not made a basket since the 5:03 mark of the first quarter. NAACP Endorses Gay Marriage (UPDATE)
Less than two weeks after President Barack Obama announced his public support for gay marriage, a prominent African-American civil rights organization is following suit. The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People’s board of directors voted to endorse gay marriage on Saturday, according to a tweet from NAACP officer Maxim Thorne.
